My journey

Dream. Believe. Succeed.

Why I started

Over 10 years ago I decided I wanted to be a different person. A new me. A better me. I was over-weight, unhappy and my confidence and self-esteem were at rock bottom.

I had been going to the gym for years and believed attending and doing something was enough, but for the first time I decided I needed help as I wasn’t getting results, and I asked for it! At the time I thought asking for help was a weakness but now I know it was a sign of strength and determination and the start to changing my life for the better!

I have never looked back. Over the next few years I went to the gym, attended classes, started running (slowly at first), made a great new bunch of supportive friends, oh and lost 3 stone! Doing a variety of exercise, watching what I ate and consequently feeling much healthier and happier became part of my normal life.

I loved it so much I wanted it to be more than part of my life; I wanted fitness to be my career for the rest of my life. I wanted to inspire other people to achieve what I have achieved, to taste success the way I have and to feel better about themselves in the way I do. So I’ve invested in myself, completing personal training & fitness qualifications that mean I’m ready to inspire2train – if you’ve had a dream about a new or better you, I can help you believe and succeed just like me! Will you let me help you?

The journey so far

Over the last few years it has been my pleasure to work with some truly amazing clients and I have been delighted to have been part of their success stories. I have worked with people of all ages (20s through to 60s), male & female and people of all fitness levels. I have got people into shape for their wedding, special occasions, to pass fitness tests and to improve their mental health and well-being.

It was hard through lockdowns and Covid, but we found a way to continue and keep clients focused on their goals and dreams. Seeing clients' faces when they reach their desired goals reinforces why I do this as a job and why I love it so much.

What I've been working on

Having witnessed the struggle some clients have experienced trying to exercise or just deal with daily life, during perimenopause and menopause, and having reached this phase of my life too, I have been studying hard and gaining knowledge in any spare minute I have to understand more.

I have been focusing on women's health and wellness, in particular on exercise, sleep and nutrition during perimenopause and menopause.

I want to empower the women I work with, with the knowledge and tools they'll need to see them through this stage of their life.
